Leadership Training Program

The Leadership Pathway

​

1. Kids Support Training (Age 10+)

• Introduction to responsibility through partner work

• Playful learning of securing and assisting others

• Foundation building: warm-up games, stretching, six basic wheel tricks, and conduct rules

2. Certified Coaching Assistant / Junior Counselor (Age 13+)

• Training in single + partner wheel tricks, tumbling, trampoline basics

• Understanding the coach & student code of conduct

• Focus on safe and secure teaching practices

​​

 

3. Aftercare Program Assistant (Age 14+)

• Assist aftercare coaches weekdays, 3–6 PM

• Develop teaching and coaching skills in a supervised environment

• Gain real-world leadership experience with younger students

4. Wheel Gymnastics Coach Level 2 (Age 16+)

(Eligible after at least 3 years as a coaching assistant or junior counselor)

• Certification across all wheel disciplines

• Leadership and teaching styles

• First Aid & medical basics

• Physical conditioning for support

• Introductory biomechanics

• Planning for individual and group progression

Ongoing Development

Education doesn’t stop at certification. Students continue to learn through:

• Educational Wheel Weekends

• Special Training Events

• Workshops with visiting coaches
