About Us

Located in Chicago, CirquesExperience has welcomed people of all ages, from 5 to 99 years old, to participate in various programs and activities. Gym Wheel and Cyr Wheel, Aerial Silks Arts and Dance, Static Trapeze, Trampoline, Partner Acrobatics, Juggling, and many more since it was founded in 2011. Over time we added Summer Camps, Camps during Winter and Spring Break, and Day Camps when school is off (5 to 13 years old). We offer Competitive Classes for Gym Wheel and four advancing levels of courses to help our students excel in the sport and art of wheel gymnastics. We provide Physical Education lessons for schools in our neighborhood like Gale Community Academy, Family Matters School, Chicago Waldorf School, Chicago Friends School, German Int. School Chicago, and DANKHaus Pre-School. We participate in Parades (Thanksgivings  Parade, Parade of Lights, Halloween Parade, 4th of July, and many more.). We perform year-round on various occasions like Loyola Summer Plaza, Christkindl Market, and Virginia Tattoo, only to name a few. We work with the Park District Summer Program (Workshops and Fieldtrips) and regular Circus Arts classes at Chase Park and Willye B. White Park.
In 2020 we added Gym Wheel and HomeWorks, a unique after-school program that combines fun and healthy physical work on the Gym Wheel taught by high-skilled coaches with educational development provided by capable tutors. We recruit our tutors in cooperation with Stephanie Wilson, Director of the Undergraduate Exercise Science at Loyola University; Gym Wheel and HomeWorks serve children and teenagers from 5 to 13 years old.
Together with the USA Wheel Gymnastics Federations scholarship program, we run a scholarship program to support refuge kids (5 to 13 years old) and their families. In addition, we provide in-person family support services through education, creation, practice, and circus arts performance, uniting youth across all backgrounds and ethnicities, encouraging self-esteem, leadership, mutual respect, promoting the disciplined way of Circus Arts, and balancing academic, recreational, and social activities.
